This is Marion Neff's Medallion . It's a project to be given to her daughter. She has written a letter, that will travel with it, explaining her daughters disease and the way that she conceived the her medallion. It is Machine Appliqued.
This is Katherine Hess's medallion, "block is sort of like my home-the California central valley-in February. Lots of fog, some rainstorms, narcissus and daffodils have started blooming and the sunny days can be glorious." The state flower is the California Poppy.
