Island Lake Cottages is a small family owned and operated resort in the beautiful Boulder Junction-Manitowish Waters area of the Northern Highland State Forest, located in northern Wisconsin. We offer our guests completely furnished housekeeping facilities located on Island Lake of the Manitowish chain of lakes and will provide you with relaxed, informal and low key hospitality. COTTAGE NO.1
Spacious, carpeted one bedroom knotty pine paneled cottage with one double bed and a hide-a-bed, bath with a shower and a large open living-dining-kitchen area with lots of windows. The cottage is located on a hill with a view of the lake. There is a cleared area with a picnic table and a Weber Kettle for outdoor grilling. Towels, bed linens and a microwave oven are furnished as is a fourteen foot boat.
COTTAGE NO.2
Two bedrooms, each with a double bed, knotty pine paneled throughout, bath with a shower, living-dining-kitchen area with lots of windows. There is a Weber Kettle and a picnic table for outdoor dining. Towels, bed linens and a microwave oven are furnished as is a fourteen foot boat.
GAME ROOM & LIBRARY
A game room and library is open to all our guests. It contains books, magazines, puzzles and board games.
Each cottage will sleep four and rents for $500.00 plus taxes per week. Each additional person-daily $20.00, weekly $60.00 plus taxes. Check in time is 2:00 p.m. on Saturday with check out time at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. For the convenience of our guests our cabins are non smoking and pets are not permitted, also no personal motorized watercraft (WAVERUNNERS) are permitted.
Unregistered daily guests will be charged $15 per day per person.
Deposit policy: A $175.00 deposit is required for each reserved period and each unit, with checks being made out to ISLAND LAKE COTTAGES. The balance due upon arrival. Upon receipt of your deposit you will receive confirmation by return mail. Any stay of less than week will require a deposit of half the total rental fee.
CANCELLATION POLICY: In the event you should have to cancel your reservation, the deposit will be applied to a reservation for another time. Please give us as much notice as possible so that we may try to re-rent the unit(s).
