John Phillips & Delila Maynard

from Pioneer Families of Pickett County, Tennessee by Tim Huddleston

John Phillips, son of Samuel and Betsey Phillips, fought as a Union Soldier in the War Between the States and settled in Overton County, Tennessee. These were the children of John and Delila Maynard as of the 1870 Overton County Census [dates added from Samuel Silias Phillips' Bible]:
