I have written this program for Windows 95/98/NT in November of 2000.

It is a program to help your child with their A B C's. This program has 3 modules.

In the first module ABC's: when they type a letter or click on the letter at the top of the screen they will see it displayed up on the monitor and hear the corresponding letter through the speakers in a cute little four year old voice and see a picture displayed that begins with this corresponding letter. For exampkle if the letter A is chosen then you will here the letter A and it will display a picture of an apple. You can click on the picture of the apple to hear the word apple.

In the Second module Alphabet Soup: you will see a bowl of soup with letters in it and a picture in the upper right corner of the screen. If you click on this picture you will hear the name of this picture and also see the spelling of it just below it. The object of this module is to spell the name of this picture by clicking on the letters in the bowl of soup. Each time you click a letter in the bowl you will here it again through the computer's speakers. Once you think that you have it spelled correctly you click on the guess button to see if you are correct.

The third module is Hangman, in which there are over 400 words used and 3 difficulty levels. You are given the alphabet at the top of the screen and you try to guess the unknown word by clicking on the letters. Once you click on a letter it will disappear so that you can not use it again.

Download the Abc_Soup.zip file (2.8M) into a folder and unzip it. You run the Alphabet_Soup.exe file.

Please tell me what you think of it via gvdmg@yahoo.com
