1. Thadeus1 SAUTER was born circa 1769. He married Helena HAUG, daughter of Joannes HAUG and Gertrude KNOBBLIN, on 13 Nov 1791 in Hirschau, Württemberg, Germany.1
Helena HAUG was born on 18 Aug 1773 in Hirschau, Württemberg, Germany.2 She died on 11 Oct 1838 in Hirschau, Württemberg, Germany, at age 65.3

2. Thadeus2 SAUTER (Thadeus1) was born on 28 Jul 1796 in Hirschau, Württemberg, Germany.9,10 He married Christina KITTEL, daughter of Joseph KITTEL and Anna Maria ZIMMERMAN, on 13 Nov 1820 in Katholisch, Hirschau, Schwarzwaldkreis, Württemberg, Germany.11 He died circa Jan 1847 in Chillocothe, OH.12
He was also known as Thaddaeus SAUTER. He was also known as Tedious SOUTHER. Thaddaeus and his family emigrated from Württemberg, Germany to North America in 1932. He applied for his emigration papers in Jun 1932 indicated he was 36 years old and born in Hirschau. (File #841085).13 Thaddaeus was a carpenter by trade. He was Catholic.
Christina KITTEL was born on 23 May 1800 in Hirschau, Rottenburg, Württemberg, Germany.14 She died circa 1846 in Chillocothe, Ross, OH.15

3. Bruno3 SOUTHER (Thadeus2 SAUTER, Thadeus1) was born on 10 Oct 1824 in Hirschau, Rottenburg, Württemberg, Germany.28 He married Nancy LEASE on 13 Oct 1864.29 He died on 13 Sep 1886 in Greenfield, Highland, OH, at age 61.30
He was also known as Pern SAUTER. He was also known as Prone SAUTER. He was also known as Prono SAUTER. He was also known as Pernel SAUTER. Prono has also been found as Bruno, Pernel, Pern SAUTER / SOUTHER. He was listed as Bruno in the Wuerttemberg Emigration Index.

He served in the Civil War as a Private in Company E, 37th Regiment of Ohio Volunteer Infantry.
Nancy LEASE was born on 6 Jun 1838 in Ross County, OH.31 She died on 14 Jun 1934 in Good Hope, Fayette, OH, at age 96.32

6. Gertrude3 SOUTHER (Thadeus2 SAUTER, Thadeus1) was born on 16 Mar 1837 in Russ County, OH.60 She married Lewis FOX on 23 Aug 1858 in Russ County, OH.61 She died on 12 May 1919 in Chillocothe, Ross, OH, at age 82.62
Gertrude and Lewis are buried in Greenfield Cemetery in Highland County, OH.
Lewis FOX was born on 16 Oct 1829 in Wilenlongar, Baden, Germany.63 He died on 27 May 1920 in Ross County, OH, at age 90.64 He was also known as Ludwig FUCHS. Lewis may also be known as Ludwig FUCHS.

7. William3 SOUTHER (Thadeus2 SAUTER, Thadeus1) was born on 28 May 1839 in Frankfort, Ross, OH.75 He married Christena Catherine HOWARD on 4 Apr 1864 in Lyndon, Ross, OH.76 He died on 12 Mar 1913 in Buckskin, OH, at age 73.77
William was a Civil War veteran as a Private in Company B, 6th Regiment, Ohio Volunteer Infantry. He served at Pittsburg Landing in Tennessee. Constant exposure to bad weather caused his ill health and an Honorable Discharge.

William and Christena are buried in the Greenfield Cemetery, Greenfield, Highland, OH.

He had been a farmer.
Christena Catherine HOWARD was born on 15 Sep 1846 in Ross County, OH.78 She died on 31 Jul 1922 in Dalton Township, IN, at age 75.79

Mary E. HAMMOND was born on 14 Feb 1877.84 She died on 1 Sep 1935 in Bloomingburg, Fayette, OH, at age 58.85 She was also known as Lizzie E. HAMMOND.

Emma KINNISON was born on 22 Mar 1877 in Pike County, OH.93 She died on 18 May 1937 in Springfield, Clark, OH, at age 60.94

FOUNTAIN, son of Lorenzo FOUNTAIN and Sarah, on 21 Jun 1897 in Fayette County, OH.101 She died on 21 Jul 1965 in Washington Court House, Fayette, OH, at age 84.102

Carson C. FOUNTAIN was born on 3 Oct 1874 in Fayette County, OH.103 He died on 29 Mar 1957 in Good Hope, Fayette, OH, at age 82.104

11. Mary Lucinda4 SOUTHER (William3, Thadeus2 SAUTER, Thadeus1) was born on 11 Nov 1869 in Buckskin, OH.108 She married William Isaac YEOMAN, son of Enos YEOMAN and Angeline "Mary" BAINTER, on 15 Apr 1902 in Chillicothe, Ross, OH.109 She died on 7 May 1942 in Detroit, MI, at age 72.110
Mary and William were divorced in 1922 at Chillicothe, IL.

Mary is buried in the Grand Lawn Cemetery in Detroit, Wayne, MI.
William Isaac YEOMAN was born in Nov 1878 in Buckskin Township, Ross, OH.111 He died in Aug 1966 in possibly, MI, at age 87.112 William is buried in the Chillicothe Good Hope Cemetery in Chillicothe, Ross, OH.
The six known children of Mary Lucinda4 SOUTHER and William Isaac YEOMAN were as follows:

12. Adam4 SOUTHER (William3, Thadeus2 SAUTER, Thadeus1) was born on 10 Nov 1874 in Buckskin, OH.121 He married Jesse Earla OLER, daughter of Lewis OLER and Jenny BROOKS, on 14 Mar 1906 in Wayne, IN.122 He died on 23 Mar 1950 in Greensfork, IN, at age 75.123
Adam and Jesse's first born daughters are twins. One of them died early. There may be two additional daughters; Ruby Ruth SOUTHER and Edna Blanche SOUTHER.

Adam and Jesse are buried in the South Cemetery, Lot 231, Greensfork, Indiana.
Jesse Earla OLER was born on 24 Jul 1882 in Greensfork, IN.124 She died on 19 Apr 1946 in Greensfork, IN, at age 63.125 She was also known as Jessie Earla OLER. She was also known as Earla OLER.

13. Lillie Mae5 SOUTHER (Thomas W.4, Bruno3, Thadeus2 SAUTER, Thadeus1) was born on 9 Oct 1895 in Greenfield, OH.127,128 She married Roy PURCELL on 21 Jun 1920.129 She died on 4 Jun 1977 in Fayette, OH, at age 81.130

14. Virgil P.5 SOUTHER (Thomas W.4, Bruno3, Thadeus2 SAUTER, Thadeus1) was born on 29 Oct 1905 in Fayette County, OH.134 He married Ruth Lee ARDLEMAN in 1926.135 He married Dorothy L. CARMAN, daughter of Cary A. CARMAN and Margaret E. McKINNEY.136 He died on 10 Sep 1966 in Washington, OH, at age 60.137

Glen RIGGLE was born on 8 Aug 1909 in Wythe County, VA.145 He died on 22 Apr 2001 at age 91.

17. Delbert Gilbert5 SOUTHER (Adam4, William3, Thadeus2 SAUTER, Thadeus1) was born on 3 Jun 1909 in Economy, IN.146 He married Blanche Bernice ADAMS, daughter of Charles Oscar ADAMS and Anna Mary STRAUB, on 17 Aug 1937 in Richmond, IN.147 He died on 27 Aug 1999 in La Jolla, CA, at age 90.148
He was also known as Dee SOUTHER. Delbert or Dee as he was known by family and friends and his wife Blanche are buried in the Mountain View Cemetery, Calexico, Imperial, CA.
Blanche Bernice ADAMS was born on 1 Nov 1915 in Newcastle, IN.149 She died on 2 Feb 1999 in San Diego, CA, at age 83.150

Flossie Elizabeth5 SOUTHER (Adam4, William3, Thadeus2 SAUTER, Thadeus1) was born on 5 Nov 1911 in Hagerstown, IN.151 She married Virgil Edward WARRELL Sr., son of Albert WARRELL and Jennie ELEY.152 She married Louis OLIPHANT on 1 Jan 1948 in Muncie, IN.153 She died on 15 Oct 1950 in IN at age 38.154

Virgil Edward WARRELL Sr was born on 26 Aug 1886 in Union City, IN.155 He died on 8 Feb 1948 in Muncie, IN, at age 61.156 Virgil was a veteran of World War I.

Louis OLIPHANT was born on 22 Sep 1905 in Muncie, IN.157 He died on 1 Jan 1953 in Muncie, IN, at age 47.158

19. Dwight L.5 SOUTHER (Adam4, William3, Thadeus2 SAUTER, Thadeus1) was born on 10 Jul 1918 in Economy, IN.163 He married June SHUMINOFF, daughter of Alexander SHUMINOFF and Belle MILLS, on 27 Nov 1940 in Wayne County, IN.164 He died on 19 Nov 2002 in probably, Fountain City, IN, at age 84.165
At his death, Dwight was survived by his wife, children and six grandchildren, Genella WILT (Phil), Lisa CAMPBELL, Krista SOUTHER, Alexandria HUTCHINSON, Adam SOUTHER, Derek NICHOLSON; 10 great-grandchildren, Randy DAVIS, Austin LINAGAR, Taylor DILLON, Taylor PINKSTON, Sheyenne LINAGAR, Shonoah CAMPBELL, Dwight WILT, and Brahmer, Brindle and Broc FLETCHER. Dwight is buried in Willow Grove Cemetery, Fountain City, Indiana.166
