A Mothers Prayer

"A Bith Mothers Love"

I looked into your eyes,
and a tear cascaded down my face
I gave you one last kiss,
then you were gone without a trace.

Twenty seven years have come and gone since you were mine,but the love between us, has and will,
traveled through the end of time.

You carried my love with you
through all these years.
for you to draw strength from,
through all life’s fears.

I sent many prayers to the father up-above
for you to find me,
so I could give you this mothers love,

So brush those tears from your eyes
your search for me has ended,
it took you a lot of tries.

Now let the healing for all to begin
no more secrets,
no more sins

Words can not describe my feeling of dispair
Knowing that you were never told
that this mother really cared.

Long ago I gave you a name
but they gave you another
that person today, you see as your mother

So now the struggle begins anew,
to find a place just for me
a place for me and you

I feel your pain and know your sorrow
but at last you can know
I will be here tomorrow

So I give to you my unconditional love
to a daughter from her birth mother,
with all her love
