2001
ORMAN FAMILY REUNION PICNIC
Descendants of David Orman,Sr.

Dianne Underwood

Our reunion was held Saturday, August 11, 2001 at Wildwood Park in Ottumwa, Iowa. It was a beautiful sunny day, about 80 degrees, and over 100 family members showed up from all over the United States. I had a lot of fun meeting so many people that I felt I knew but had never met in person. A lot of family members showed up with books, pictures, & family papers. We kept the copying machine running all day. I (having a blond moment) forgot my camera, but am hoping that some who did not will share their photos with me so that I can put them up here for all to enjoy.

ORMAN FAMILY REUNION GUEST SPEAKER

SPECIAL TREAT for us was our guest/cousin genealogical speaker, Diana Smith. Diana is a professional speaker and she was kind enough to volunteer to speak for us. One of the things she shared with us was some of her genealogical tips to help us with our own research.
