John Barnard was born between 1750 and 1755
in England.
He married Sarah Bachman about 1788,
in Virginia, the daughter of
Samuel Bachman and Rachel Owen.

John died by drowning in the Holston River in
Hawkins County, Tennessee.
He is buried in the Beech Creek Cemetery,
Hawkins County, Tennessee.

Sarah is buried in the Shiloh Cemetery,
about 9.9 miles south of
Kingston, Tennessee.

Jonathan Barnard was born January 1, 1790.
He married Sarah Jolly
September 5, 1812
in Green County, Tennessee,
the daughter of
William Jolly and Nancy Wheeler.

Jonathan died April 24, 1875
in Roane County, Tennessee, at the age of 89.
He and Sarah are both buried at the
Shiloh Cemetery, near Kingston, Tennessee.

Sarah Jane Barnard was born April 24, 1834
in Roane County, Tennessee.
Sarah married Parnick Johnson, July 10, 1849
in Roane County, Tennessee,
the son of Littleberry Johnson and Edith George.
