1.  Elizabeth Ann Norwood, b 17 Aug 1817, d 10 Jan 1891, bur Bumpass Cem, Lawr Co TN; md
     1) 28 Nov 1833 William W. Clift, b 1808 d 1840 son of Henry Clift; she md 2) Park Gibson,
     b 8 Nov 1795 d 13 May 1877.  The names of Elizabeth and William W. Clift's children were
     learned from the will of William Clift's father, Henry Clift.  Henry Clift specifically excludes from
     inheritance the children of his deceased son, William, namely: Henry , Charles and Sarah.  Since
    Elizabeth had married again, family speculation is that Henry did not wish "the Gibson man" to

benefit from any portion of his estate

2.  Josiah Moore Norwood, b 3 Jan 1820 md Fayetteville, Lincoln Co TN 7 Mar 1839 Sarah Auld
   Ramsey, b 23 Jun 1820, dau of Neal Ramsey (b 4 Mar 1785) and Sally Goldston (b 8 Mar
     1787); moved to Ouachita Co AR 1856

From Arkansas 1911 Confederate Veterans, Vol II:  Charles Neil Norwood was educated in Ouachita Co AR; doctor of medicine 1866 in Lafayette Co and Nevada Co AR.  His degree was obtained in University New Orleans, LA; was Mayor of Stamps, AR; tax assessor and state senator; was a Democrat, Methodist Episcopal, Odd Fellow, Stamps AR No. 147.  Enlisted in Co F Lafayette Guards, Lewisville, Lafayette Co AR, 15 May 1861, 6 Jun 1861, Little Rock Inf under Gov Henry M. Rector, served 4 yrs, 2 mos; was in the Battle of Shiloh, Hover Gap, Murfreesboro, Chicamauga, Missionary Ridge, fought from Dalton to Atlanta, GA.
