About me: I am descended from Francis James Cahill b. 1835 Galway/Clare, IRL (my g-g-grandf). He came to New Brunswick, NJ 1849. One of his Cahill children (James) moved to WashDC in the 1870's. James daughter (Dorothy) married Frederick Stohlman c 1916. This is the overview of my Wash DC connection. The other descendants of Francis James Cahill are in the Phila PA area, including me and some are in the New Jersey area. Your page is great! Great site. I grow up in Congress Heights. My great Grandfather moved to SE from Fauquier Co. VA in the early 1900's. He worked as a male nurse at ST. Elizabeth Hostipal. Thats were he meet my great Grandmother who worked in the laundry at St. E's.

I was not aware of the new list for ENGLES. I have been subscribed to Ingalls for quite sometime and have not been able to go anywhere. Perhaps, now that I have the appropriate list for my surname I'll be able to make progress with my Dora INGLES KEMP (b. 1836/9 May; Germany). I'm so glad you posted to the INGALLS list!! Your page is Terrific! Now, if I could learn a few more things about site development maybe I can turn my webpage into more than just a single page. I just loved reading this. The first big city I ever seen was D.C. and I knew after I graduated, I had to live there. Came fron a small coal mining town in Pa and our class trip was to D.C. I did graduate and move there. It will always be my most favorite place on earth. Altho I live in Texas now, my heart will always be in Washington D.C. I hope to return some day.
