Hi- Welcome
to my swap page. I
started on-line swapping last summer. What fun it's been. I've traded with
people from all over the world. I love to buy fabric for the
swap ( another reason to go to the fabric store! ) and then receive
those little (or big) squishy packages in the mail. Always
something new to spark your imagination.
If
you have never done a swap before, here's what to
expect.
The hostess usually posts a theme for the fabric or blocks to be swapped.
Such as 6"charms in spring floral designs or FQ's of homespun, etc. The
other guidelines are usually spelled out.
Take
the guidelines with you when shopping.
Buy
what you would like to receive.
If it is a block swap, make it with love.
Buy good quality 100% cotton fabric.
Make sure to send your swap in on time.
Enclose
a card or label with info about yourself for
the
person that receives your fabric.( Such as name,
e-mail
address, on-line name, home address).
Enclose
an envelope ( Tyvek from the post office works well) with the correct postage
( not metered,use stamps please)
in
order for the hostess to return your fabric.
I
like to thank the swappers that I receive the
fabric
from, if possible. ( I enjoy finding out what others thought
of my
swap also.)
It's
nice (not necessary though) to do a little something extra for the swap
hostess. Maybe send an extra of whatever the swap is about.
Join
the fun. Check out these on-line swaps for just a few of the many swapping
possibilities.
