A tribute to my Sister
- My best friend
When I was born a
while ago
I only just was first;
'cos following closely
on my heels
my dear sister, came
next.
..
Right from the start
she was there for me,
a special bond we
have;
it started long before
we were born
and will last thru'
eternity.
..
To have a special
friend like this
is a very blessed
thing,
I praise my God for
the things He gives,
but especially for
my twin.
..
They say that twins
are double-trouble,
but we know this
is wrong;
for it's double the
joy,
and laughter and
fun,
and adds harmony
to our song.
..
I thank you my friend
for all you've done,
throughout the lifetime
we've shared;
For the encouragement,
love and
friendship given,
for the hugs and
tears we've shared.
..
May our Father in
Heaven
keep His hand on
you,
and continue to guide
your life;
May He bless you
richly in all you do
my much-loved other
half.
