We're leaving today.
We want to be a part of

We've worked very hard

Our mom's will send us to

It's a Long Way to First Grade

It's a long way to the first grade
It's a long way to go.
But we'll get there in September
Cause we know what we should know.
We'll be reading and we'll be writing
And doing our math too.
It's been a long way to the first grade
But we'll be there REAL SOON!
It should be sung with lots of spirit and quickly. 

What We Did This Year

Come and listen to the story about what we did this year,
We've been working very hard and we think that it is clear.
We have learned a lot and we made a lot of friends.
We're leaving kindergarten and we're on our way again.
First Grade, bigger numbers, bigger words.

We've learned a lot
and grown a lot

of friends.
We'll say goodbye,

it's time for us to part.

I've worked with your flower,
And helped it to grow.
I'm returning it now,
But I want you to know...
This flower is precious,
As dear as can be.
Love it, take care of it,
And you will see...
A bright new bloom,
With every day.
It grew and blossomed
In such a wonderful way.
In September just a bud,
January, a bloom;
Now a lovely blossom
I'm returning in June.
Remember, this flower,
As dear as can be,
Though rightfully yours,
Part will always belong to me!

I've been going to my preschool,
All the whole year long.
