Basket of Bears Display Display a basket filled with bears and bear books. Choose children each day to pick out books to be read at story time.
Have a Buddy Bear Day Allow each child to bring their favorite bear to school. Help the children choose categories to sort their bears, such as bears with dresses, bears with pants, brown bears, white bears, etc. Make a simple graph to display.

up: Create little “Blank Books” for each child and program with the numbers 5 down to 0 and have the children draw a bed on each page. Then with a rubber stamp teddy bear shape have the children “stamp” the correct number of teddy’s on each page….5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0. Then tell the story again as they turn the pages in their book.
