Parent Welcome Letter

Dear Parent,

I welcome your family into my heart and home.  What I offer to your child is much more than just childcare.  I offer an extended family - Support system that nurtures all of us.

It is often difficult for working parents to balance all the commitments and responsibilities in their lives.  I offer you peace of mind where your child is concerned.  I offer a safe, loving environment where your child will be accepted, loved, nurtured, and stimulated.

I strive to meet your child's physical, intellectual, social and emotional needs.  I feel children learn best in a creative natural learning environment.  Your child will learn everyday by being a part of an extended family.  Patience, sharing, responsibility, compassion for self and others, communication and teamwork will be practiced through participating in the daily routine of the home.

I have 10 years experience working with children.  I also come from family of seven children.  I will use my knowledge to offer stimulating, developmental activities when your child is ready for them.  They include music and movement, outdoor play, practical life and sensorial activities ( play dough, sand and water exploration, etc), arts and crafts, pre-reading and pre-math skills, quiet story and sharing times, manipulative, dramatic play, lots of laughter, hugs, and love.

My commitment to you starts with your commitment to me.  For this support system to thrive, we must have open, honest communication.  Please feel free to share with me your concern, problems, and situations which will affect your child.  I will share mine with you.

To help my family child care home operate smoothly, you will need to comply with my policy and contract (see attached).

I am looking forward to working with you to provide the best possible care for your child.

Welcome to my home.
