My name is Bijou and I am 11 years old.

My mother (35 yrs) and I (14 yrs), in the 

summer of 1944 in Grand Forks, ND.

I reside in a 10 X 40 mobil home in Ocotillo, Carlifornia, which is located about 28 miles west from El Centro, CA, and about 90 miles east of San Diego. It is small community of about 150 persons with the exception during the months, October thru March, we grow to 500 or more.

The community has the following : Restaurants, Gas Station, U.S. Post Office, Volunteer Fire Dept., Motel & Mobil Home Park in which my home is situated. There are also a coupel R.V. Parks, a small Church, a Launderette, and a Tavern called The Lazy Lizard. We are also only about 5 miles north of the Mexican Border.
