This is an updated web site of both mine and my wife’s ancestry. It is a work in progress and will be updated from time to time. I produced my first web site in the 2000 and had not updated it since 2004. My web page has been located on the GeoCities web site but Yahoo recently announced that they will be closing the GeoCities web site on October 26, 2009 so I decided this was a good time to update my web page and move it.

The web site title is based on my ancestry. My ancestors settled in Indiana after making their westward migration from the east coast. Several of my lines were Quakers.

My wife’s maternal side of her family came through Alabama and Louisiana, moved to Texas and Oklahoma, and then on to Kansas. Her paternal side came from Kentucky and Tennessee into Missouri.

My interest in Genealogy began in the late 1960’s with a high school project and has grown throughout they years. Much of my early information came from family members, either dates they remembered, information from a family bible, or information about previous generations that had been handed down but never verified.
