My Great-Great Grandparents were John and Martha (Maxwell) Middleton. They both were born in England. They had five children. There was John, George, Elizabeth, Mary Ann, and my Great Grandfather Isaac James Middleton.
Isaac James Middleton was born January 16, 1861 in Granton, Canada. He died February 09, 1946. His first wife (My Great Grandmother)was Martha Angeline Lockery. She was born in Guelth, Canada in 1865 and died in 1897 in Michigan. Isaac became a United States citizen June 01, 1900. They had seven children.
(1.)William George Middleton b. Jan.19,1881 in Lucken, Canada. Married Charolett Williams. Their children are Lewis, Austin, William, Harold, and Jack.
(2.)Tressa May Middleton b.Forrest, Canada. Married Tom Clement. Children Mabel and Thelma.
(3.)Barney Lester Middleton(My Grandfather) b. Sept.10,1886 in Buel Twp. d. Dec.08,1951 Married Ethel Frances French March 03, 1910 in Croswell, Mi. She was b. June 17,1891 in Elk Twp. d. Jan.28,1982. They had six children: (1.)Frank Wellington b. Feb.10,1911 d.1919. (2.) Blanche Lillian b.April 10,1912 d.Dec.10,1983. Married 1.John McLaren. Their children Jean, Eileen, Janet, John, Frank, Carol, Sandy, and Robert. Married 2. Clarence Maes. (3)Tressa Mae b.(Private) married Russell Eagle. Children Russell, Lillian, and Carolyn. (4.)Isaac Nelson b. Dec.10,1918 d. April 21,2002 married Ilah Gould (b.Private) Children Linda (me) Helen, and Sherry. (5.)Dora Angeline b.Dec.11,1920 d.Sept.01,1966. Married Carl Eagle. Children Gloria, Richard, Edward, Connie, and (Timothy died at birth) (6)Lenoard Lester (b.Private)

(6.)Jenny Middleton b. Buel Twp. Married Fred Brown. Children Bernice, Glen, Reed, Maria, Ella, Maude, and Evelyn.
(7.)Ella Middleton b. Buel Twp. Married Harry Craige. Two children Lois and Jack. Live Port Dover, Canada.
Isaac married Lucy (French) Chapman (Refer to French Page One) They were married Nov.11,1904. She was b.Oct.24,1874 d.Feb.17,1950. Her First marriage was to John Chapman. They had three boy's Royal(Roy), Aaron Levi, and George Alvin. Isaac and Lucy's children were:

(3.)Clifford Theodore Middleton b.March 28,1907 in Buel Twp. Married Hazel Lashbrook b.May 29,1911 in Riley Center, Mi. d. March 18,1942. Children James, Leona, Allen, Charles, Ila Joan, Kenneth, Judith, Larry, and Mary Frances. Second marriage to Roma Watson, no children.
