I know that there are countless pages about Angels. There are beautiful graphics, and long lists
of links, and even many religeous and historical accounts
about Angels. I will simply have here images of the ones that
I like,with no particular motivation other than to invoke some nice "feelings" when you visit this page.

Arising from my body; there were tears upon my face
But the pain and sorrow vanished, as I drifted into space.
I looked back upon my loved ones; who mourned my passing on
And I saw the flickering of candles, as their prayers bid me to go beyond.
Up, past those little 'love lights' shining down below
Toward the night-sky stars; with their ever burning glow
I no longer feared the darkness...as I began to pray
I saw my guardian angels; who had come to light my way.
They led me on to Heaven's door, I found Jesus waiting there
He took me in and embraced me; with the most tender loving care.
In silence we moved onward, to God's own golden throne
The Light was all around me, His mighty voice filled the room!
"Come child, you have found Heaven, here with Me this night."
Upon my knees, I told Him... "But I am not worthy in Your sight!"
It was then that He told me, "Be still and do not fear.
It was the love of those you left behind, that brought you to Me, here."

ONE NIGHT

An angel spoke to me;one night as I awaited sleep,
The message was alarming, not one that I wanted to keep.
I rejected it so quickly, erasing it from my mind,
So sure it was the chiding of a spirit, of the darker kind.
But the news of sickness was brought by my gaurdian from above,
And was meant to prepare me; and give reassurance of God's love.
I did not act rightly, my fear stifled what I was meant to hear,
For, how could I ever imagine; my gaurdian angel was so near?
So should you ever hear the voice; of an angel in the night,
Pay careful attention,and do not doubt,or run in fright.
God can truelly send His angels, bearing with them His own words,
And for those who will recieve it, His message can be heard.

Come, dear guardian angel, stand closely by me here
For I know that heaven sent you, to still my doubtful fears.
And if I listen carefully; and hear what you shall say,
The message of God's Wisdom, will guide me on my way.
How wonderful to know that, you are a gift to me alone,
Sent here to guard my very life, and lead me safely home.
And when I was created, you prayed I would be safe from harm
You embraced me with my mother, as she first held me in her arms.
You laughed at my first steps, then followed me off to school
You cried with me, when as an adult I learned, life could be so cruel.
Thoughout the joys and sorrows, you never left me here alone
And when this life is over, surely you'll carry me gently home.
You are God's own sweet love song, sent to soothe our hearts,
You sing of His Forgiveness, and the promise of a fresh new start.
You dispel the earthly darkness with Heaven's Shining Light
Come,stand near; dear guardian angel, and abide with me tonight.

Angel of Peace, messenger and guide, sent from God above
Hear my sigh; and touch me, with Heaven's Healing Love
For when my heart is aching, and sad thoughts crowd my mind
There is a hurt deep within, that only you can help me find.
Lean close to hear the whisper, of my secrets and my cares
That visit me when I am alone; with no one else to share.
They open up the part of me that so needs a tender touch
It is there I keep the memories of those I miss so much.
The ones who brought into my life; their beauty, love and joy
Then were taken away; or chose to go,leaving only their goodbye
Creating empty places in me, that cannot truelly be refilled
Go there, with your healing touch, so that my sorrow can be stilled.
Sometimes, I think that nothing; will ever cure so deep a pain,
Knowing that I shall never see; the ones I miss so much again.
And so, dear guardian angel, come to me weeping here
Enfold me close within God's Love, wipe away each falling tear.
For it is when I am so weary, and in need of pain's release
That I say a prayer asking for your carress, dear Angel of Peace!

Oh, hear my call, Sweet Angel of Prayer,
And help me to find aid for my every care.
I know God will help me if only He hears,
So, please lift my need to His waiting ears.
I have heard that He will answer our call,
No problem is ever too big or too small.
And it is you who will always be there,
To carry my message, Sweet Angel of Prayer.
Whether I speak it, or hold it deep within,
You will bring my plea lovingly to Him.
And I know whatever the answer shall be,
God will give me only what is best for me.
No matter how selfish, how foolish or trite,
You'll transform it on your heavenly flight.
And by the time you arrive at Our Creator's Throne,
You will embrace my prayer, and make it your own.

God's Angel watching me today
I cannot hear the words you pray,
I do not see your vigilant eyes
Ever watching to counter Evil's lies.
So willingly you stand by my side
Always ready with Wisdom to provide.
With loving care you remain on guard
To rescue me when life gets hard.
I will never know how to understand
The wonder of God's merciful plan,
When for each of His children here
He gave the gift of an Angel so dear.
A loving spirit, of such power and grace
Who sings God's Praises and sees God's Face.
Why should you stay in the presence of me
Who can not hear and does not see.
I wonder, does it cause you pain
When with hurtful words I cry and complain.
For if I am burdened or in much despair
You lead me to find those who care.
And when sickness puts me upon my bed
Is it your healing touch placed upon my head?
In confusing times when doubts prevail
Could it be you who lifts the blinding veil?
In knowing you are always there
I feel embraced by my Father's care.
For would He send such a gift divine
If we were not precious in His mind.
His beloved children, who fail to see
God loves us each so faithfully.
And if you doubt the words I say
Ask God's Angel watching you today.

In the Glory of Heaven in Holy Ecstacy
Gazing at the Light of the Holy One's Face
Surrounded by Love touched by His Grace.
How could you leave this Splendid Delight
To stand by my side each day and night
Trading this vision of Sweet, Perfect Bliss
To watch over someone as unworthy as this.
But to God I am precious Made in His Sight
He commanded your pressence, protection and light
Forever you guide me to His Eternal Throne
Leading me, dear angel, to our Heavenly Home.

Ministering Angel of God's Healing Love
I call you to listen then hasten above
My body is broken my mind in dispair
I cry out for Mercy that is my prayer.
Go swiftly to stand at the Heavenly Seat
Speak in your wisdom at The Holy One's Feet
For I know not the right words that I should say
Only of my deep need for His healing today.
My mind is so weary full of worry and strife
Joy has been a stranger in this burdened life
My heart has been broken time and again
I long for the kindness of a true caring friend.
How often I wondered if He really knew
If each tear was counted as He said He would do
Yet doubt is a weapon used by our dark enemy
So I hoped beyond seeing that He had heard my plea.
Fly now, my angel and be sure to relate
I will always believe that God's Love is Great
I shall continue to pray as long as I must
For I know He is teaching me patience and trust.

In the twinkle of starlight on a moonbeam they glide
To come down from Heaven and stay at his side
As your small child lay sleeping alone in the night
Bringing him sweetdreams is their greatest delight.
Baby Angels singing gently a soft lullabye
To soothe and to comfort as the evening goes by
Watching, gathered closely in moonlight's white glow
They whisper songs of God's Love that babies should know.
All around him till the first rays of daylight have come
Then they kiss him and tell him their night's work is done
There's a rustle of small wings as they all start to fly
Baby angels, all going upward in the blink of an eye.
So if your child awakens with giggles and calls of glee
Greeting you with the most beautiful smile you did see
Know the angels were with him all the night long
And he is still singing a sweet baby angel song!

In the times when I feel sad and ill my days are so forlorn,
The tears that fall give birth to a prayer from within the storm.
And from the turmoil of fear and doubt comes the flowing tide,
Of hope brought to me on the wings of Angels by my side.
They whisper words of wisdom about the ebb and flow,
Of life's lessons from a Loving Father that we all should know.
He would never send us a burden without a helpful guide,
Our heavenly teachers in this life are the Angels by our side.
For when we see a tragedy or experience personal grief,
We have only to surrender and ask with confidence for relief.
It will not be long until we sense a love so deep and wide,
The reward of faith in the One who sends us Angels by our side.
Angels sent to inspire those who will hear their urge to serve,
Special people with hearts full of thanks for favors undeserved.
Who will want to be the hands of love and share the joy inside,
From recieving and then carrying on the gift of Angels by our side.
