When I married into this family in 1963 Grammy Beers was still living. She resided in Pennsylvania all of her life, as far as I know. I never met her, and do not know her first or maiden name.

Robert Beers worked as a professional musician, playing the cornet and trumpet, at one time with Lawrence Welk on the mid-west circuit. After marriage he spent many years on the Nebraska Highway Patrol, and then took a position as Chief of Police in Chadron, Nebraska.
