Hi!
I hope you enjoy my page on education for homeschoolers.
I have many links to get you started in seeing what the
internet
has to offer older homeschooling families.
We are a family of 5 with 3 wonderful children:
Gabriel who is 15 and
wants to be a pilot.
He does really well in math and can't
wait to start biology.
Stephanie who is 13 and
wants to be a movie star.
She loves to dance and sing.
And she has a real heart for groups of people that have
been mistreated.
example african americans and american
indians.
Daniel who is 12
and wants to be a policeman.
He is my rough and tumble
one who can be a real challenge to me.
He loves the
physical things of life, like WWF wrestling,
wrestling the
neighborhood kids, fishing, baseball
and just being
busy all the time.
We are just starting our high school years.
What a challenge
for me. I never thought I would homeschool for this long,
but here we are going into our 9th year.
These are some of my favorite links that I go back to from time to time.

Excellent!
The Nine Planets
"The Nine Planets is an overview of the history, mythology,
and current scientific knowledge of each of the planets and
moons in our solar system. Each page has text and images,
some have sounds and movies, most provide references to
additional related information."
Plymouth Massachusettes-It's History and People
A fun place to learn all about the Mayflower, Pilgrims,
Indians,
and
Plymouth. There are pictures,
actual photos of tools, houses, people in
costume, the inside of the ship,
cooking utensils and on and on. There's even the actual list of passengers--
it was
fun to read over the names--
two brothers on the mayflower--one named Love,
the other named Wrestling?
Really Interesting!

I mostly use her Natural Speller. This will be my 3rd year
for using this spelling. I really enjoy it, because my oldest
has had trouble in this department. And this Natural Speller
has really helped. I also have her history and Science
curriculum which I use as a reference.
Apologia Education
I am using Dr. Jay Wile's Biology curriculum, a high school creation
science curriculum.
I saw Dr. Jay Wile at our homeschool convention and he
was such an encouragement for me.
RobinsonSelf-teaching Home-School Curriculum
or
ROBINSON CD & BOOK COMPANY
Caren from the Robinson CD Book Company puts it best.
( The 3 R's.... the past's way of learning... building self-thinkers and
modern day scholars)This curriculum comes with 22 cd roms.
K-12 classics. I believe there are 150 books contained in
these cds. It has a dictionary, encyclopedia and Bible as well.
You print them out your self. But if you are looking for
books that are classics and unedited, this is the place.
Saxon Publishers
My daughter will be doing Saxon 76 this year. Saxon also has
an online placement test, which is a big help when
you change curriculums like I did. My other
2 will stay in Making Math Meaningful.
