At CHEVALS FARM we are very proud of our stallions.

Each of our three stallions has produced in and out of the show ring. All have done extremely well in their show careers and are now "showing" what they're made of in the breeding arena. Collectively they represent some of the best breeding programs and bloodlines in the Miniature Horse industry. All are "double registered" AMHA, AMHR and measure under 34 inches...thus making them desirable breeding stallions in both registries.

Each year we carefully select a few mares to breed to each of these stallions in order to produce the "smallest most perfect miniature horse possible"...this is not only the mission of the AMHA...IT IS CHEVALS FARM's MISSION!

Grosshills star studded

.........A four year old BAY stallion with a LARGE STAR. Born in 1993, STAR STUDDED is a "ROWDY" great grandson and a "LITTLE MAN" grandson sired by LAZY N LITTLEMANS BOY. His dam, "INDEPENDENCE", is a product of the KOMOKO breeding program. STAR STUDDED is 33.25 inches and has all the power and grace that any well balanced working equine should have. He has had 2 sons, both small with excellent movement, strength and balance. STAR STUDDED has been bred to several mares for 1998 foals.

grosshill littlemans hot to trot

.........A three year old BLACK stallion. Born in 1994, HOT TO TROT is a "ROWDY" grandson and is sired by LAZY N LITTLE MAN. His dam, "GINGER" is a KOMOKOS DARK DESTROYER daughter. HOT TO TROT is 31.0 inches tall and is well balanced with a strong flank and a beautiful head and eyes. He has been bred to one mare for a 1998 foal.

.........A three year old "DANDY COLORED" stallion with light eyes. Born in 1994, RHYTHM is a BOND DYNAMO grandson and is sired by the National Champion Driving horse...RHOTENS LITTLE DANDY. RHYTHM has shown since he was a weanling and has just completed showing as a three year old. He has acquired many titles and points in both LIBERTY and HALTER. He measures 31 inches and has been bred to one mare for a 1998 foal.

.....Current we have 8 broodmares. Five of these mares have been bred for 1998 foals. The remaining 3 mares have just joined our "BROODMARE BAND" and will be bred in the spring of '98. Simply put...Our goal is to bred our stallions to these mares and produce the type of horses CHEVALS FARM has come to represent...Horses that posses the same POWER, GRACE and BALANCE typical of full sized equines. We believe that "form follows function"...exceptional movement, balance and grace follows exceptional conformation. Our mares represent some of the best breeding programs and bloodlines in the Miniature Horse industry. All are "double registered" AMHA, AMHR and measure under 34 inches...thus making them desirable breeding mares in both registries.

.........A four year old PINTO mare. Born in 1993, VELVET is a RHOTEN'S LITTLE DANDY daughter and a BOND DYNAMO granddaughter. Her dam, LITTLE KINGS CAYENNE, is a product of the KOMOKO breeding stock. VELVET is 33.25 inches.
GROSSHILLS VELVET and LACE IS ONE OF THE HIGHEST POINTED HALTER MARES IN THE HISTORY OF THE AMHA with 317 OPEN HALTER POINTS!
VELVET has been bred to GROSSHILLS KING TUT ( owned by REECE FAMILY MINIATURES ) for a 1998 foal.

.........A twelve year old CHESTNUT mare with a star. Born in 1985, GINGER is a KOMOKOS LITTLE HUSSELER granddaughter and is sired by KOMOKOS DARK DESTROYER. GINGER is 32.25 inches tall and has a beautiful head and eyes. During her career she has been bred to and produce some of the premiere miniatures in the industry. She has produced a National Champion GROSSHILLS I'M A BOOGER TOO ( owned by REECE FAMILY MINIATURES ) and has been bred to GROSSHILLS STAR STUDDED for a 1998 foal.

.........A fourteen year old BAY ROAN mare with a star and one blue eye. Born in 1983, HUSSY is a KOMOKOS KING TUT granddaughter and is sired by KOMOKOS LITTLE HUSSELER. She measures just 26.50 inches and has been bred to GROSSHILLS NIGHT RHYTHM for a 1998 foal.

........An eleven year old BAY PINTO mare with exceptional movement. Born in 1986, LASSIE is a KING TIGER daughter. She measures 30.25 inches and has been bred to GROSSHILLS STAR STUDDED for a 1998 foal.

........A five year old BLUE ROAN mare, measuring 33.75 inches. MIA will be giving us her second foal this year. Two years ago she produced a beautiful filly sired by GROSSHILLS I'M A BOOGER TOO... deCHEVALS CHANCES ARE. This spring she will be giving us a "SECOND CHANCE"...MIA has been bred to GROSSHILL LITTLEMANS HOT TO TROT.

........An eight year old BROWN mare, measuring 32.50 inches, SPICY is new to our farm. Born in 1989, this mare is a RHOTEN'S LITTLE DANDY daughter and a BOND DYNAMO granddaughter. Her dam, LITTLE KINGS CAYENNE, is a product of the KOMOKO breeding stock. THAT'S RIGHT her full sister is GROSSHILLS VELVET and LACE!
SPICY will be bred this spring for a 1999 foal to GROSSHILLS STAR STUDDED.

........A three year old BAY TOBIANO PINTO mare, measuring 33.50 inches. ROULETTE was our "first born"! She was foaled in 1994, her sire is the well known JEFFERSON HALLS GAMBLER. Her dam is our own 26.5 inch HOBBY HORSES MISS HUSSELER, HUSSY, making ROULETTE a KOMOKOS LITTLE HUSSELER granddaughter. She had a successful weanling show career and is scheduled for breeding in the spring of 1998.

........A two year old BLACK mare, measuring 28.50 inches. B.I.B. is full sister to GROSSHILL LITTLEMANS HOT TO TROT.and is a ROWDY granddaughter sired by LAZY N LITTLE MAN. Her dam is our own NFCs DARK GINGER making her a KOMOKOS DARK DESTROYER granddaughter. She was foaled in 1995 and had a successful yearling show career which she capped off by placing 3rd in the 1996 AMHA National FUTURITY class for YEARLING MARES 28" and UNDER. B.I.B. is scheduled for breeding in the spring of 1998.
