So far, I have found nothing else for James, Dortha or Clarinda Leathers. However, some years ago while talking to Ethel McGill Irvin, she said that Clarinda came to Illinois from Tennessee with her 3 brothers when she was 14. Her brothers didn't like Illinois, so they returned to Tennessee but Clarinda stayed in Illinois.
