We must fight against the spirit of unconscious
cruelty with which we treat the animals.
Animals suffer as much as we do. True humanity
does not allow us to impose such
sufferings on them. It is our duty to make
the whole world recognize it.
Until we extend our circle of compassion to
all living things,
humanity will not find peace.

This page is for
all homeless animals, and is dedicated to the memory
of Gulliver, who's short life gave us so much joy.
Gulliver, as you can see, was an adorable puppy. Nevertheless, when we met him at the SPCA, we were becoming his third owners in his short life of only three months. His energy and playfulness was coupled with unbounded love for his family. Who could give up such a beautiful friend? Apparently, too many people can do just that. So many do it that many pets are condemned to death because of the terrible shortage of loving homes. Gulliver was one of three cats and two dogs that we have had the pleasure of adopting into our family. So many of the animals available at shelters need only a chance to show you just how good a friend they can be. |
Why don't you give one of them that chance?
