Streusel Rhubarb Dessert Squares

Crust:

1 cup flour

1/3 cup margarine

1/2 cup powdered sugar

Filling:

1 1/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 eggs (slightly beaten)

3 cups fresh or frozen rhubarb (coarsley chopped)

Topping:

3/4 cups flour

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1/3 cup margarine or butter

In medium bowlm cinbube 1 cup flour and powdered sugar, cut in 1/3 cup margarine till crumbly. Press in bottom of ungreased 9x9 pan. Bake 350 degrees for 15 minutes. In medium bowl, combine all filling ingredients, blend well. Pour over partially baked crust. In medium bowl, combine topping ingredients to form crumbs, sprinkle on rhubarb mixture. Bake 350 degrees for 45 - 55 minutes or topping is golden brown and rhubarb is tender. 6-8 servings
