Black Bottom Cupcakes


Combine in a mixing bowl:
    1 C cream cheese
    1 unbeaten egg
    1/3 C sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
 
Stir in:  1 C semi-sweet chocolate chips

In a separate bowl, sift together:
    1 1/2 C flour
    1/4 cocoa
    1 C sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt

Add:        1 C water
                1/3 C cooking oil
                1 T vinegar
                1 tsp vanilla

Fill each muffin cup with the chocolate mixture to 1/3 full.  Top each one with a heaping teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture.  Bake at 350 degrees F for about 30 minutes.
