3/4 cup pecan halves
1/2 lb. soft caramels
2 tablespoons heavy cream
1/2 pkg. (4 squares) semi-sweet chocolate, melted,
slightly cooled
Place 2 pecan halves in clusters on lightly buttered
baking sheets. Melt caramels in cream in saucepan
over very, very low heat, stirring constantly until
smooth. Spoon cooled caramel mixture over clusters
leaving ends uncovered. Let stand until set, about 30
minutes. Spread chocolate over caramel mixture.
