YAHOO GENEALOGY CHAT FRIENDS CLUB LIBRARY

Hi...Welcome to the Yahoo Genealogy Chat Friends Club Library...Just a group of amateur genealogists who have met online and become friends.......Our club is dedicated to helping each other and anyone else who has already begun their search for ancestors or who is about to do so......Ours will always be a work in progress.....

We tried to decide what would have helped us the most when we started or for that matter, what would help us now.....We have come to the conclusion that the most wonderful thing for us, since most of us live far away from the locations we are researching, would be to have someone either on the scene or with books and information about that location who would be willing to do look-ups for us.....We also either remembered someone who had been doing research for quite a while when we were just getting our feet wet guiding us in the right direction, if we were lucky, or wishing that we had such a person to guide us....So this Library was born......

Ours is a fairly new club....We recently celebrated our first birthday.....A little over a year since JrFrost decided to found this club.....There are now 6 Co-Founders.....JR, Aunt Jay, MomLace, TexasGranma, Kbiam and Aitkems.....But we have nearly 1600 members and it is growing everyday....And what we lack in age...we sure make up in enthusiasm....We invite you to join us....You will be welcomed with open arms....We are a fun loving group....but make no mistake about it...we take our genealogy very seriously....You will find a guestbook below....Also a link to our clubhouse....You can go directly to the club and sign up....Or sign our guestbook and let us know you are interesting in joining us....A member will contact you with further information about the club

So...here we are....The Yahoo Genealogy Chat Friends Club...Take advantage of us....that is what we are here for.....

MOM'S LIBRARY

Named for one of our favorite members, Rita Lace, Yahoo Chat handle "MomLace" because we really like her and also because she has the most books.

The following is a list of books owned by the members of this club...Also location and genealogy library or LDS history center where look-ups can be done....Members who will do look-ups for that information is provided.....Email member with request...Be sure to include...full name, all know pertinent dates and location.....
