Description: Thick leaves of green in rosettes 12" 
     across with centers of white, rose, purple in Fall and
     Winter.

Germination Requirements:  Should be sown and 
     placed in refrigeration for three days followed by
     germination at a temperature with medium 65°-70°.
     Do not cover seed as light is beneficial to germination

Seed to Bloom:  Not of any importance

Hardiness:  Not heat tolerant, Will tolerate a light 
     frost.  Does very well during cool seasons.

Exposure:  Full sun

Soil Requirements:  Moist well drained soil, Keep 
     moist.

Mature Height:  10-15 inches

Spacing:  15-20 inches apart

Planting Season:  February - March for Spring display,
     June - July for Fall/Winter display.

Flowering Season:  No major value

Landscape Uses:  Bedding, borders, potted plants, 
     pattern bedding, edging.

Special Notes:
     General Care:  Crops for late Spring color must be
      started very early indoors to get large plants for
      Spring.

      Problems:  None of major importance
