Description: Herbaceous plant, large leaf clusters and
     many branches.

Flower Description:  Large daisy-like, single or 
     double

     Color:  Colors of red, white, yellow, pink, bronze or
      in combinations.

Germination Requirements:  Temperatures of 68°  -
     86° 

Seed to Bloom:  Tuber to bloom:  50-60 days

Hardiness: Tender, Temperature: 55° -90° , can 
     tolerate 32° without damage.

Exposure: Full Sun to Partial shade.

Soil Requirements:  Improved soils,  adequate 
     moisture.

Mature Height:  12 inches

Spacing: 12- 24  inches apart

Planting Season:  February - March

Flowering Season:  All summer

Landscape Uses:  Border, bedding, cut-flowers, 
     exhibition, pots, planter boxes.

Special Notes:
     General Care:  Deadheading is recommended to 
      promote more flowering.  Roots should be dug after
      killing frost and stored in peat or saw dust through 
      the winter, plant 5-6 inches deep.

   Problems:  Nematodes, aphids, stem borers, 
      powdery mildew.
