Description: Moderately fast growing upright sturdy
     annual, oval to lance shaped leaves that are pale
     green.

Flower Description:  Petals may be flat, twisted or
     quilled.

     Color:  Every color except blue

Germination Requirements:  Plants seeds no more 
     than 1/8 inch deep and don't firm the soil to much.  
     In fact, you can pack the soil with the light spray
     from the garden hose.  Warm soil germinate seeds 
     within one week and produce an identifiable seedling
     that will most likely outgrow weeds.

Seed to Bloom:  42-55 days

Hardiness: Tender, Temperature: 55° -95° , can 
     tolerate 35° without damage.

Exposure: Full Sun 

Soil Requirements:  Most any soil is tolerated, 
     adequate moisture

Mature Height:  6-12 inches

Spacing: 6- 24  inches apart

Planting Season:  February - August

Flowering Season:  April - November

Landscape Uses:  Border, bedding, cut-flowers, 
     edging.

Special Notes:
     General Care:  Deadheading is recommended to 
      promote more flowering.

   Problems:  Powdery mildew, spider mites, 
     caterpillars, crown rot.
