Elizabeth was born about 1800 in GA and died prior to Dec., 1858. Lemuel moved to Pike Co. GA by 1827 He owned land in Land Lots 68, 94, 94 & 100 of the 8th District. He moved to Tallapoosa Co., AL after 1846, where he was living in 1850. He returned to Pike Co., GA by July 18, 1852, where he was married a 2nd time on Dec. 26, 1858 to Irena Turner. His children by his 1st wife were:

John Rogers born 1820-25, who married Elizabeth Wood. Served as a private from Mar. 4, 1862 in Co. H 44th Regt. Army of N VA. Wounded at Ellison's Mill VA on June 26, 1862. Discharged with disability on March 2, 1863. Died before 1870 census. See the Wood family for their children.
