LAST UPDATE: Still needs a lot of improvements but a minor touch-up on April 19, 2009!!!

The Mark & Kristin O'Grady Family

For some unexplainable reason, all of our links off this page are no longer working. In the meantime, you can either Right click on them to "open in new window" or you can cut and paste the typed out links to show the page.

Well we have left our wonderful Moscow, Russia -- the 5th largest city in the world since I guess we hungered for that small town feel. So we now reside in
Seoul, South Korea -- the 6th largest city in the world!

Mark's job is still quite busy but it is not the grindermill of Russian-American trade relations. Our trade with Korea is more mature and allows him a little extra time to study (since the Government did not give him any Korean language training before arrival). Despite this temporary illiteracy, Mark is now
2nd Secretary for Commercial Relations between the United States of America and the Republic of Korea.

As in the past, Mark's move resulted with Kristin finding yet another higher paying job than his (Remember, Mark has always dreamt of being a kept man one day). Kristin is the now
Deputy Counsel for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Far East District!

Yes, this means we are a combined Diplomatic and DoD overseas family now! We are slated to be in Korea until 2012 so start planning your trips!

You can see that we have made quite a few other life changes from when we were a couple of giddy International Trade Specialists who fell in love some 18 years ago!!!

Here is Griffin and Katie with their beloved Great Grandma June Moody who passed away in April of 2004. Alana's middle name is in her honor.

Okay here is a little clip of Katie tearing up the stage at her two year olds "Guppy Recital."[http://www.oocities.org/Heartland/Meadows/4430/kttrim2.avi]
"Guppy room" graduation performance.

Katie short Boogie without sound

As you can see here, Katie has slaved away since she was less than two years old to bring you a web site that chronicles the O'Grady Dynasty in a timely manner. Mom and dad keep procreating and have added Griffin and now baby sister Alana June forcing a major overhaul of the entire site!! This transformation is now underway! Griffin's name explanation page is available finally at [http://www.oocities.org/mkkogrady/grif.htm]

Yes . . . Mom and Dad could simply allow Katie to enjoy her infancy but aside from making' babies, here is where they were spending their time!!

Still up to the same manic lifestyles but we've decided to stop procreating at 3 kids!

We still miss our Maryland mansion but we do appreciate "No Compromise Band" maintaining of the house. They are jamming out now in the 1998 masterpiece built by two Polish engineers under the company name, Baltic Construction. The house is a beautiful two story in Silver Spring, MD - 860 steps to the Forest Glen Metro, 160 steps to a beautiful park, 100 steps to a grocery store and 3000+ square feet of opulence. We owe our wonderful home to the patience and savvy of our buyer broker George Hooley.

Alana June's red-haired and adorable features attract attention from admirers wherever we take her. In fact, all 3 kids are, in themselves, a national attraction here in Korea. Everytime we go out, Koreans (and Japanese tourists) just love taking pictures of them!
Griffin has so many of his fathers features, that Mark calls him 'mini me.' He likes Seoul Foreign School and is going into 2nd grade and is studying Korean. Katie also continues to keep us busy and is going into the 8th grade in the fall. She is still studying Spanish but all 3 have a good base in Russian. Yes time marches on.  On Pearl Harbor Day, Katie turned twelve years old! She is very beautiful and talented and I am already sick of hearing people say that I'll be having to chase the boys away with a stick.
