James BREWER

1863. Will of James Brewer, dated 2 Nov. 1863, wit. David Vaughan, 
George and Jacob Sawler, Property [Part of Lot # 4, Western Shore,
divided in Three Parts, 22 rods by 320 rods, 44 acres] to his 
daughter Jane.  After Jane's death property must fall to grandsons
and no others.

George BROOME

1865. Will of George Broome, Dated 6 Sept. 1865, Probated 
24 Oct. 1865. 
I, George Broome, of New Ross in the County of Lunenburg, being of sound mind, do declare this to be my last Will and Testament. In the first place I bequeath to my wife Maria Rachael Broome, all my estate, both real and personal, provided that in the event of her marriage, or in the event of her death, all the said estate, both real and personal shall become the joint and equal property of my three sons, Edward Islam Broom, David Herbert Broome, and Henry Clifford Broome; provided also that those my three sons, shall each and all be liable to pay to each of my three daughters, Mary Jane Broome, Emma Ophelia Broome and Eunice Bertha Broome, the sum of $40.00 [forty dollars] at the expiration of the third year after those my sons shall have come into possession of the said estate: and provided also that each of my three daughters shall always have a home on the said estate until such time as she shall by marriage, aquire a home of her own. I hereby desire and request that George Ross Esq. of New Ross and my brother David Broome, also of New Ross, will undertake the office of executor of this my last will and testament. And I hereby appoint the said George Ross Esq. and David Broome to be and act as trustees of my sons [or any of them who shall not have attained the age of 21 years at the time of the decease or marriage of my wife, Maria Rachael Broome aforesaid, I further request and desire of my beloved wife aforesaid, that she will as early as possible without permanent injury to the rights of my children aforesaid, pay all and every of my just and lawful debts. In witness that the above is my last Will and Testament, I affix my hand and seal this sixth day of September in the year of our Lord, one thousand, eight hundred and sixty-five.

1812. Will of Joseph Contoy, # 145 pg. 267 Probated 13 April 1812,
Dated 19 Sept. 1795, Codicil Dated 16 June 1806, Executors wife Barbara
and son John Justin, wit. Peter Moser, Joseph Bailey and Lewis Wilkins,
wit. to Codicil Joseph Bailly, Romke B. Comingo and Joseph B. Comingo, 
Probate Granted to John Justin Contoy 13 April 1812
I give and Bequeath to my dearly beloved wife, Barbara [Upon this Express Condition that she shall not marry again] all my Real and Personal Estate during her natural life, but in Case she Marries again, she shall only have the 1/3 Part of my Real Real Estate, that is to say the Dower which she is Entitled to and no more; and after the decease of my said Wife or on the day of her Marriage, I give and Bequeath to my 2 sons John Justin and Joseph Nicholas and their Heirs for ever all my Real and Personal Estate, Share and Share alike, and it is Further my Will and Order that my 2 sons shall Pay Out of the Above Bequeathed Estate to my daughter Mary Elizabeth £ 10 to be paid in 5 years after my decease, to my daughter Mary Eve the like sum of £ 10, Last mentioned shall be paid in 7 years after my decease, and I do Further Order my 2 sons John Justin and Joseph Nicholas shall give unto my daughter, Mary Eve, a Milch Cow and Calf at the day of her marriage or at the day she shall leave her father's house, which ever shall first happen.
1806. I, Joseph Contoy, within named, do this 16 th. day of June 1806 Make and Publish this Codicil to my Last Will and Testament, on manner following, that is to say, I furthur give to my daughter, Mary Eve, within mentioned, the sum of £ 6 Currency to be paid her by my two sons within mentioned, in witness I have hereunto Set my Hand and Seal the day and year last above written. wit. Joseph Bailly, Romke C. Comingo and Joseph B. Comingo.

by John Publicover.

Charles Demon, by John Creighton, wife Catherina, Lot # 4 at 
Centre, after her Decease the 30 Acre Lot to 2 sons, John 
Franz and Charles, Share and Share Alike, First Division 
Letter B #7.  Son Frederick 1 Shilling, he having received his
Portion of Inheritance. 5 Daughters, Catherine Schlitter, Mary
Bolehar, Henrietta Smith, Elizabeth Bauchman and Eve Speidel
each to receive £ 2 in Currency.

1808. Will of George Adam Eisenhaur, Dated 12 May 1808, Probated 
24 May 1808 at Lunenburg. #122, lived North West, Exectrix, wife,
Catharina Elizabeth.  
That my real estate, of what nature it may consist shall be sold at Public Auction 6 months after my decease for to discharge all my lawful debts, and the remainder of what is left, I give unto my daughter, Catharina Elizabeth, £ 40 to be paid to her when she comes at her age by my executrix. And the remainding overplus, with all my personal estate unto my wife, Catharina Elizabeth, and do hereby appoint her my Sole Exectrix of this my Last Will and Testament.
George Adam Eisenhaur made his Mark and Seal. Witnesses Philip Herman, John Contoy and John Eisenhaur.

Henrich ERNST

1813. Will of Henrich Ernst, Twsp. of Lun., Dated 15 Jan. 1813,
Probated 24 March 1813 Lun. # 151, pg. 275. Executors sons Matthew
and Casper Ernst, wit. Adolph Newman, John Mc Gregor and Philip 
Arenburg.
After Paying my Debts and Funeral Expenses. I Dispose as followeth. First, I Give and Devise to my 2 sons Matthew Ernst and Casper Ernst, their Heirs and Assigns for ever, my 30 Acre Lot of Land lying in Common Range # 2, son Matthew Ernst to have the 1/2 of Lot joining Lot # 3, and Casper to have the other 1/2 Joining Lot #1, the Barn on said lot to be used in common to both.
I Give to my son Casper aforesaid, his heirs and assigns for ever, 3 Town Lots situate in Creighton Division Letter E # 9,10 and 11.
I give to my daughter, Dorothy Wuest, 3 Town Lots lying in Moreau's Div. Letter F # 1 2 and 3.
I Give to my daughter Elizabeth Meltzer, 1 Town Lot in Moreau's Div. Letter F # 4 and Likewise 1 Lot situated in Zoubuhler's Div. Letter G # 5 with the Building thereon, she to enjoy the use and benefit of the same during her natural life, and after her decease, I give, devise and bequeath the last mentioned town lot with the building thereon to my grandson George Metzler, his heirs and assigns for ever.
I Give and Devise unto my two daughters Elizabeth and Dorothy Wuest, aforesaid my 4 Lots of ground situated and lying on the Peninsula, adjoining to the North West Range the same to be divided between them share and share alike.
I give and devise unto my two sons Matthew and Casper, their Heirs and Assigns forever my 2 Town Lots Lying in Creighton's Div Letter E # 7 and 8 with all the Buildings thereon, the same to be Divided between them, share and share alike.
I give and bequeath to my wife, Eve Maria, the 1/3 Part of All my Personal Estate, which it is my Will, shall be sold at Public Auction and the Remainder thereof shall be divided among all my children aforesaid in Equal Shares.
I do further Give and Bequeath unto my said wife, the Town Lot which she holds from her late Husband in Zouberbuhler's Div. Letter H # 9, to gether with the Sum of £ 30 currency to be paid unto her by my 2 sons, Matthew and Casper Ernst, aforesaid, in Lieu of her Dower in my Real Estate and continue to Live in my Dwelling House during her Natural Life if she Thinks Proper.
I Give and Bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Metzler the Sum of £ 20 Currency, and unto my daughter, Dorothy Wuest the Sum of £ 50 Currency which said Legacies shall be respectively paid unto them out of my Real Estate by my 2 sons Matthew and Casper.
Lastly, I Nominate and Appoint my 2 sons, Matthew and Casper Ernst Joint Executors of this my Last Will and Testament hereby Revoking all Former Wills by Me Heretofore Made. In Witness Where of I have hereunto Set my Hand and Seal this 15 th. Day of Jan. A.D. 1813.
