Frogs on Television

The next rebroadcast of "There is nothing wrong with frogs" on Animal Planet will be
Monday, May 11, 8:30am ET.

Acorn the Nature Nut

Here is a picture taken from that show. It's John Acorn and his four year old female White's tree frog "Handsome Moe." This show is a MUST see for all frog lovers! If Animal Planet is not available in your area, click on the link to find out how to get it.

John Acorn is on the Internet. Click here to go there. You can even order a copy of "There is nothing wrong with frogs" from this site.

Also, on Animal Planet, there is a show called
Madison's Adventures: Growing Up Wild "Crazy Croakers" . It will be re-aired on Tuesday, February 24, 10am ET.
I also viewed this show on CBS (locally) early on a Saturday morning (6:00 am).

If you try checking at TV GUIDE, you might be able
to find a local airing date...

Also, on Animal Planet, there is occasionally aired a very interesting story about Cane Toads. I will try to find out a rebroadcastining date, and post it when I find it. It is pretty impressive when they show a Cane Toad eat a live mouse. Wow, those toads get BIG!!
This show was also aired on PBS stations, so if you might not get the Animal Planet channel, you could try contacting your local PBS station.

There are also many sit-coms that have a "froggy" theme. Do you remember the Brady Bunch where Bobby has a "jumper" frog? Or how about the Leave It To Beaver where the "Beave" collected frogs to sell to a science lab (to earn money for a canoe)?
