never really change

with the passing years,

and ours is the best example

I can think of…

No matter how much time

has come between us,

we only have to see each other

or hear from each other again

and just like magic,

the days or weeks or years

suddenly vanish from view,

and out next good time begins

right where our last one left off…

That easygoing feeling of comfort

we have just being together

has never changed,

and I don't think it ever will.

And the happy memories we share

grow more precious.

So even though we're miles apart,

I want you to know

you will always be

as much a part of my thoughts

as our good old friendship

has been apart of my life.
