Katie-Beth is nearing the Rainbow Bridge. I love her dearly and will miss her sorely, she's the greatest, most dedicated friend I've ever had. It's difficult to see her aging. She is arthritic and now half blind and deaf, but she's still my baby. She i the third pug I've had in my family. The other 2 (both named Dolly) were like sisters to me, but Katie is like my baby. She has always been "my dog" and follows me wherever I go (even tries to get into the bathroom with me, ha ha). I hope she passes pea efully and in her sleep. I will help her if the vet deems it necessary. It won't be easy, but if she is suffering, I will do it for her - out of love. This is getting long - I love to "pugchat". Hi! I have a Pug and a Boston Terrier. My pug, Bugzee, just turned 8 Tuesday! We threw him a big birthday bash! We had all the dogs in the neighborhood come down to have games and Kibbles and Bits. It was a lot of fun. When everyone went home he pl yed with his new toys for a long time. I wen to bed and in the middle of the night he came into my room and jumped onto the bed and got under the covers and we snuggled. I will never forget this little doggie when he is gone. Love your page. Being the happy owner of 2 Pugs myself, I loved looking at your pictures. They are absolutely the greatest breed. I had a Pug as a child, and it took a lot of convincing to talk my husband into getting our first Pug - he thought that Pu s were ugly (can you imagine!). Now, of course, he's a big sap about our 2 Pugs and is guilty of over-feeding them! Our second Pug, Honey Bear, was a Concerned Citizens Rescue Pet; she had bitten a child, but we decided to take a chance on her and have ever regretted it. They provide much love, fun and enjoyment.

I grew up with pugs my entire life (this is Nopo III), and I'm looking forward to getting one in the next year or so so that my daughter can have the unconditional love and listening ear that I always had. Pugs are fantastic with kids and among the most asy-going dogs I've ever seen. Of course, they do mean decorating the entire house in neutrals so that their shedding doesn't show:-)

We already had a 7 year old cat and a 4 year old beagle that we recsued from a refuge leage in January. I've always wanted a pug and saw Trikki in a pet stor and couldn't resist her. Nice job on the web page, Pugsley! I can't wait to see more pictures of you, you little cutey! You are going to LOVE obedience training, it is really fun! We get to play all sorts of neat games like puppy pushups (don't worry, they'll teach you how to do this), and dog races (when called, see who goes to their owner the fastest). I hope you find a good one where they treat you nice and use lots of praise and treats, and no training collars or punishment. That way it makes train ng fun, and makes you look forward to it.
