Pottsville, Lovelle Twsp  NY, and died 11/11/1961 in Los Angelas,
California.  He married MARY (MABEL) ELIZABETH HILL 6/16/1909 in
Housatonic, Massachusettes, daughter of CHARLES HILL and EMMA MAHAR.  She
was born 8/24/1876 in Housatonic, Great Barrington Co.  Mass, and died
11/2/1960 in Santa Monica, California.

Notes for WALTER POWELL PRITCHARD:
Walter Pritchard lived and worked as a blacksmith in Adams Mass. he began
as a blacksmith in 1913 when he purchased a large building at the corner of
East Maple and Depot Streets. Which soon became known as the W.P. Pritchard
Co.  A few years later he began manufacturing jack jumpers, which is a
piece of snow sledding equipment that looks like a short ski with a seat,
and was all the rage in Adams Massachusettes, all through the early and
middle years of this century producing them for several generations of
youngsters and shipping them all to all parts of the country.  Walter
retired in 1953 and moved to California where he died in 1961

NC) who married William JENKINS (born 31 Mar 1808 in NC) on 22
July 1829 in Orange County, NC. (Have their Marriage Bond
letter.)

Their children:  Letha, Mathias C., William Walker, Sarah A. and
John W. JENKINS born in Indiana.  Children James T. and Charles
JENKINS (my great-grandfather) born in Missouri.

Elizabeth PITCHARD JENKINS and William JENKINS died in Missouri,
and are buried in SMITH/BLACK Cemetery, Benton County, MO.  Have
photos of their tombstones.

Charles was born Oct. 1857 or 1858 . On the 1890 LA Census, he list his birthplace as Alabama. On his death certificate it is listed as MS. with no other information.

Charles was married twice. First to UNKNOWN and had 3 children.

My grandmother Georgia, said Charles never spoke of his parents or grandparents. They did not know their names or exactly where they were from. Only that Charles spoke of Alabama and TN on occasion.

Any information on this family will be greatly appreciated. I've been searching for parents and first wife of Charles for years. I assume his first wife died, as he brought the children to LA with him and they were with the second family for a short period, although they were older and moved on.

Hello, I am searching for my "Lost G.Uncle" and his descendants. His name is Ransom "Rance" Pritchard born abt. 1895 in Johnson co. Tennessee. His parents are: Center Coplan Linkes & Kelly or Callie Pritchard. Rance married Pearl Testor on Dec.21,1911 in Tennessee. Rance & Pearl had the following children:

Ira, Ray, & Zela Mae. Rance & Pearl settled in Limestone Tennessee and our family says that their children all moved & settled in Indiana later on. My G.Aunt Mary (who is 89 yrs old) says that she last saw Rance at their father funeral on Sept. 17, 1954 in Pulaski co. Kentucky, & they lost contact with him & his family after that.
