This poem is for Enzyme
A rabbit without peer
Who lived with a good friend of ours
Whom we all know as Deer
I spoke last night with Charlie,
Standing lookout on the Bridge.
He said he saw two velvet ears
A'crestin' o'er the ridge.
His bunny-leg is healed now,
And with satin nose a'twitch
He's elbow-deep in clover!
He's really found his niche!
Fear not, our darlin' Deertree
Your Enzyme's waitin' there,
Where illness cannot enter
And Skies are always fair.
And someday, when it's your time
You, too, will top that ridge.
Then, you and little Enzyme
Will together cross that bridge.
