When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."



PRAYER


God tells us to bear one another's burdens and to pray for one another.

"Pray continually," Paul tells the Thessalonians in his first letter to them (vs. 5:17.) "Keep on praying for all the saints," he urges the Ephesians (vs. 6:18).

My prayer and meditation time takes place in a corner of my sewing/sun room, where I sit in my Prayer Chair or kneel on my Prayer Pillow and spend precious time alone with my Father.

One of my favorite verses in the Bible is Matthew 17:8. "When they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus."

This is my prayer for you today. When you look up from your daily activities, from your struggles, from your pain, may you see no one and nothing but Him. He who made you. He who loves you. He who chose you. He who is your Light.
