RSVP

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is a national program that offers people aged 55 and older opportunities to use their time, wisdom, experience and talents to serve their communities. In addition to providing important service, the seniors enjoy interesting work, learn new things, make friends and receive recognition for their service.

RSVP volunteers will be reimbursed for up to $15 per month for transportation and up to $8 per month for meals when these costs are incurred in connection with performing the volunteer service. Forms for claiming these costs may be obtained and turned in at the Senior Center Office front desk.

The most important reward for the RSVP volunteers is the satisfaction of sharing their talents and helping others.
