February's Word of the Month is COURTEOUS.

Courteous means to be polite or gracious. Being courteous means remembering to say "please" and "thank you". Remembering to say "excuse me" when you've burped is another way to be polite.  A courteous person waits for someone else to finish speaking rather than interrupt a conversation. Can you think of other examples of being courteous?

Good manners goes a long way.  Like my grandmother used to say, "You can attract a lot more flies with sugar than with vinegar."  What do you think she meant by that?
