3.)  Tell all your friends and Co-workers about
       God.
               "But when the kindness and the love of God our savior toward man appeared, not
                by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He
                saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit."
                Titus 3:4&5  We can show all the love toward our friends and Co-workers we want,
                and tell them about God and his love for us. This too is a GREAT thing to do, but
                It WILL NOT SAVE US. Only God can save us!
 
 

4.)  Read the Bible cover to cover.
              "But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are
               foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."
               I Corinthians 2:14   The "Natural Man" refers to the unsaved man. We cannot be
               saved by reading the word, and when an unsaved person reads the word of God
               it doesn't make sense to him. Only after you have asked Jesus to come into
               your heart and save you will the Spirit of God fill you and make the scriptures
               known to you. Once again you must FIRST be saved. And you can only be
               saved through faith.
              "But Israel, "pursuing the law of righteousness, has not attained to the law of
              righteousness. Why? Because they did not seek it by Faith, but as it were, by the
              works of the law. For they stumbled at the stumbling stone." Romans 9:31-32
              Reading the Bible was and is something that we should do in obedience to God.
              The more we read the more we learn about Him. This however, will NOT save
              us and if you read the Bible you will learn this. ONLY FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST
              will Save us.
 

5.)  Give money to your church, and to other 
       charities.
              "And when Simon saw that through the laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Spirit
              was given, he offered them money, saying, "Give me this power also, that anyone on
              whom I lay hands may receive the Holy Spirit." But peter said to him, "Your money
              perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money!"
              Acts 8:18-20  This is a good verse to show you that you cant buy your way to heaven.
              The parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector tells you the same thing. Money cant
              buy you a spot in heaven. Only FAITH in GOD.
 

6.)  Go door to door handing out tracts about
       God.
              "For by grace have you been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; It is the
              gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."  Ephesians 2:8&9  Going door to
              door telling people about God is a good thing. Something to be commended for BUT
              it will NOT get you into heaven. ONLY by asking him to forgive your sins and believing
              on him can you be saved.
 
 

7.)  Pray to Mary, or Buda, or anyone else.
             "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven
              given among men by which we must be saved."  Acts 4:12   Jesus Christ is the
              ONLY way to heaven. Mary cannot help us. She is just a woman. Jesus is GOD!
              If you pray to anyone but Jesus your prayers will not be heard!!!
 

8.)  Take communion in your local church.
              "Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy
               manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine
               himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For he who eats and
               drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning
                the Lord's body."   I Corinthians 11:27-29 You should examine yourself and
                see if you have asked Christ into your heart. If you haven't done this you should not
                even take communion. And the only way to know if Christ is in your heart is to
                ask him in and believe in him. Faith is the KEY.

9.)   Be baptized, either by sprinkling or
       immersion.
               "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe
                will be condemned."  Mark 16:16   You'll note he did not say he who does not
                believe and isn't baptized, will be condemned. Baptism is an act of obedience
                towards God, not an act of Faith. Faith is how you become saved.
 

10.) Work as hard as you can to please God.
                "For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not
                before God. For what does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it
                was accounted to him  for righteousness." Now to him who works, the wages are
                not counted as grace but as debt. But to him who does not work but believes on
                Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness, just as
                David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness
                apart from works.  Romans 4:2-6  Once again you see that works with out faith in
                dead. If you had to work your way to heaven you would be boastful and proud. Is
                clearly states that God did not want this to happen. Only through Faith in God
                alone can get you into Heaven.
