Albion V. Snowdale, husband of Angelina T. (Benotti) Snowdale, died Oct. 6, 2004, at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home. He was born March 23, 1917, in Norwell, Mass., the son of George L. and Gertrude (Gardner) Snowdale. He is survived by his wife, Angelina of Medford; a son, David A. Snowdale of Medford; a daughter, Sandra Easton of Boxborough, Mass.; a brother, Donald Snowdale of Auburn, N.H.; a sister, Elizabeth Ciccarelli of North Easton, Mass.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Virginia Ogilvie. By his request, services will be for the family. Burial will be in the family lot in Upper Ferry Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.

 BENOTTI, ELIZABETH T.   (WESTON WALTHAM HYANNIS)
Elizabeth T. “Betty” Benotti 87 of Weston died Friday June 2, 2000 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after a brief illness.

Born in Weston, Massachusetts she has been a life long resident. Mrs. Benotti had been employed for more than 20 years in the Manufacturing Bindery division of the Potter Press & more than 20 years for the Atlantic Business Forms.

For many years she was active with the Waltham Woman of the Moose # 1018, and company bowling leagues. Family & friends often marveled at her dedication as an avid Red Sox Fan and her knowledge of players. She was the daughter of the late Antonio & Anna ( Cristofori ) Benotti, sister of the late Armando Benotti, Aldo Benotti & Clara Gorman.

She is survived by her son, Weston Police Officer Ronald E. Benotti & his wife Lorraine ( Castellano ) Benotti of Weston, her sisters, Lena Carlman & Mary Carlman both of Hyannis, Mrs Harold (Ida) Klee of North Carolina, Mrs Salvatore (Alda) Carmisciano & Mrs Samuel (Louise j Moore both of Ocala, Florida. In addition she leaves 3 Grandchildren & many Nieces & Nephews.

Services will be held Wednesday morning at 8:00 a.m. from the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, Waltham with a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Julia’s Church, Weston Ctr., at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow at Linwood Cemetery, Weston. Visiting Hours will be at the funeral home on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Flowers are appreciated or expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the West Suburban Elder Care Services, 124 Watertown Street, Watertown, Ma. 02472. Parking attendants will be on duty.


FERRANTI, DELMO (WILMINGTON WALTHAM WESTON)
Of Wilmington, formerly of Weston, February 25, 2000, Delmo. Husband of the late Grace M. (Delvecchio). Father of Frank T. and Joseph, both of Wilmington, Marie E. O'Connor of Norwood, and John Hawley of San Antonio, TX. Brother of Claire Cappello of Weston, Delmina Subilia of Wells, Maine, and the late Ada Morreale, Mary Casella, Rosina Napolitano, Laurie Casella, Delfo, Ferdinand and Joseph Ferranti. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at 9 AM Tuesday from the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main St (Rt 20) WALTHAM, followed by a funeral Mass in St Julia Church, Weston Center at 10 AM. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Weston. Visiting hours are Monday 4-8 PM. ROBERT F. MALAGODI  (submitted by Ron & Lorraine Benotti - Weston)
Robert F. Malagodi of Newton, a former industrial designer at several companies including the Arthur D. Little Inc., Stone and Webster Co., and American Science and Engineering in Cambridge, died Thursday, August 5th, 1999 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He was 70.

Born in Braintree, Mr. Malagodi graduated from Braintree High School in 1947. After graduating from the Pratt School of Design in New York, he received a degree in advanced education studies from Harvard University. Mr. Malagodi was a Navy veteran.

He taught industrial arts at Day Junior High School in Newton, Newton South High School, and in the Weston public schools until his retirement in 1985. During his retirement he worked as director of continuing education in Medford and ran the Gifted and Talented Program in Newton.

Mr. Malagodi was one of the founders of the Newton Community Chorus. He also founded Grace Notes, a vocal perfomance group at Grace Episcopal Church in Newton.

He leaves his wife, Mary (Heintz); his mother, Mary (Benotti) of Braintree; a son, Peter H. of Newton; and a brother, Richard of Braintree.

A funeral service will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. in Grace Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Grace Church Memorial Garden.


PAUL T. CARLMAN, 84
Retired lab assistant; enjoyed woodworking
HYANNIS - Paul T. Carlman, 84, who worked at Cape Cod Hospital, died Thursday at Cape Regency Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Centerville after a brief illness.

He was the husband of Lena R. (Benotti) Carlman for 64 years. Mr. Carlman was born in Waltham and educated in Lexington. He lived in Sudbury for 24 years and worked as a printer prior to moving to Hyannis in 1972. He worked at Cape Cod Hospital as a lab assistant for 22 years, retiring in 1994.

Mr. Carlman was a member of the First Lutheran Church, West Barnstable. He enjoyed woodworking and taking care of his home. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Frank Carlman of Washington, D.C.; three daughters, Paula Hogan of Hyannis, Constance Morey of Mashpee, and Susan Forbes of Medfield; a brother, Robert Carlman of Ipswich; a sister, Dorothy Carlman of Beverly; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services are private. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Old Town Cemetery, Sudbury. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Cape and Islands Division, 2 White's Path, Yarmouth, 02664.


Obituary: Delia H. (Benotti) Tassinari of Wellesley, formerly of Weston, a former employee of Benotti Florists of Weston, died Saturday at Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick after a brief illness. She was 79.

Born in Weston, Mrs. Tassinari attended Weston schools. She moved to Wellesley 48 years ago.

Mrs. Tassinari was a member of the Friendship Circle of Wellesley, the Italo-American Educational Club Auxiliary of Wellesley and the Wellesley and Natick Senior Citizens. She is survived by her husband, Frank; a son, Robert F. of Monsey, N.Y.; a daughter, Deborah Gates of Norwood; a sister, Dorothea B. Cugini of Weston; and three grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. today at St. James Church, Wellesley.

Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Weston. Arrangements are by George F. Doherty and Sons Funeral Home, Wellesley.
