Grace

Where are you? Where are you?
Behold thy eyes of many dawn and fall
Ever more tis hunger that eat into thy soul
Ever more tis thirst that burn thy soul
Comfort my beholder,
come forth from your hiding place.
Leave thee no more bewildered,
leave thee no more digressed,
leave thee no more I plead.
But thy eyes behold thee not
Alas!
Wilderness cuddled in thy bossom
Anguish filled thy soul
Death stinged thy spirit
Tis broken contrited spirit bound in eternal depths
There, then
Outstretched thy touch of love
Sprouted seeds of peace, warmth and light
Flourished springs of gladness, thanksgiving and holiness
Bloomed flowers of assurance, gratefulness and worship.
Rejoice, thus again, rejoice
Tis expression of love thy God gives
For such grace thy deserve not.

Ephesians 2:8-9
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves,
it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast."
