A void in my heart
the Lord has placed 
A void in my heart
only the Lord can fill

I look to my right
I look to my left
Where do my comfort lies?
Revelations from the Lord touches my heart
and bring tears to my eyes

With my heart 
I believed in the Lord
With my lips
I confessed His very Being

The Lord now holds my life
The Lord now secures my salvation
So fidget not my heart
but rest and rejoice in the Lord

Do I see a way ahead 
too narrow for my ankles?
Be still my heart and 
seek the way of the Lord

Do I see a mountain 
too high to scale?
Be bold my heart and
seek the strength of the Lord

Do I see the waters 
too deep to conquer?
Be calm my heart and 
seek the hand of the Lord

Yes Lord I need you daily 
In every moment of my life
Hold me fast in your bossom
for I am weak

Yet I look to You for I know 
there is no turning back
