2007 Golf Tourney3>
It is that time of year again. We will be holding the
annual class reunion golf tournament on Saturday, July
14. This year, we will be moving over to the Chaska
Town Course. We have eight reserved tee-times,
beginning at 2:00pm. In other words we have room for
32 players. If we find out soon that we have more
players, we can get that taken care of.
This golf "tournament" is open to classmates from the
class of 1984, spouses, friends, and family members.
This tournament is all about FUN. You can be as good
as Tiger Woods, or you may have never played in your
life. We just hope you will consider attending.
Ted Smokstad is kind enough to have us all over to his
house after the tournament. He has a pool, so if you
care to swim, feel free to bring your suit. If you
are unable to play golf, we would still love to have
you come over for the party at Ted's. Everyone is
invited.
Please bring your own beverages. Ted will have sloppy
joe's or barbeque beef sandwiches, and I believe that
Lea Lennon is planning on making a little something as
well. For those who have been to this event in the
past, you know it's worth it just for Lea's cooking.
Please RSVP ASAP to Tom Mitchell at
tmitchell@kpsalesinc.com or call me on my cell phone
(612) 760-0605. Last year, we had 24 players. This
year, we've made room for 32 and would LOVE to expand
the field even further.
The cost is $65.00 per person, including GPS-outfitted
carts. The normal charge for non-resident is $78.00.
This is a good deal for an opportunity to play the
course that co-hosted last year's US Amateur Golf
Championship with Hazeltine.
I will send out information on payment, and addresses
of the golf course and Ted's home (just five minutes
from the course) once you respond to me that you will
be playing.
Thanks! Tom Mitchell

Frank Coglitore's Fundraiser Highlights3>
January 26, 2002 -- Over 350 friends and family members of Frank Coglitore attended his fundraiser at the Richfield American Legion. A Thank You From Frank's Family3>
Dear Class of 1984,
I would like to thank everyone who helped make the fundraiser a huge success. It was so wonderful to see that there were so many people out there who cared so much about Frank. I would also like to thank everyone for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. I would like to thank Tom Mitchell and Chris Plourde for all the hard work and determination that the two of them had. Frank had a heart of gold and he lives on in everyone that he touched. It has been a very difficult past couple of months and knowing that there are people out there who really cared about Frank and were willing to go to the extra mile for him has been a huge comfort. I wish that I could find the right words to express how much your kindness and generosity means to us.
Sincerely,
The Family of Frank Coglitore
Nicole, Kyle, and Brianna
