e-mail: prince1@i-55.com Help SarahSjkellum50@aol.com To: jbelew@bellsouth.net Dear Jean, I am trying to re-locate my best friend from school. I once visited her there in Adairesville. She lived off Ward Mountain road. Her name is Lorraine Robertson, she was very ill and i have been unable to contact her since 1994. She used to work on the planning commission there and also on the newspaper I believe. If she has passed away I would very much appreciate knowing. My husband and I travel in a motorhome full-time and I hope to be able to return to Adairsville next year. If Lorraine is still living I would like to get in touch with her, if she has pased away I would like to know where she is buried so I could pay my respects. I have run out of ideas of how to find out what I want to know. My name is Sarah and she would instantly know who that is, so would her family. I grately appr eciate any help or direction you can give me. Thanks again, Sarah Kellum 702-499-7384

Nancy Vann census information From: "Jackie Van" To: "Jean Belew" jbelew@bellsouth.net Jean, I have a request regarding information regarding my g grandfather Burrell Thomas Vann. If you recall, we met several months ago and you were very helpful in pointing out some resources I needed to check. I've had some luck but still am unable to find the parents of Burrell but may have stumbled onto some old notes which may be a key to my lineage. Burrell Vawn (Vann) according to info I obtained from ancestry com was listed in the 1830 Cass County census. However, he would have been on ly six years old at the time and I questioned the correctness of the info. I sent a form to the national archieves requesting info based on what I had obtained from ancestry com. The return listed no findings of Burrell for the 1830 Cass census. However, in Cobb County, in the 1840 Census, there is a listing for a Nancy Vann with children in the house hold of whose ages would fall in the age brackett for Burrell and two other brothers. If it is not asking too much, can you tell me if there was a Nancy Vann in Cass County appearing on the 1830 Census. In 1830, if she was there and was the head of the house hold, there would be possibly two males in the age brackett of 5 to 10 years of age, one female 5 to 10 years of age and possibly one female 30 to 40 years of age. I could possibly be on the right track as to identifying Burrell's mother. I have some circumstances which point in that direction based on some marital information and the 1840 Cobb County census. Jack Vann

Inquiry re James Emerson Pratt of Bartow County From: Dave Pratt To: jbelew@bellsouth.net Dear Jean, My name is Dave Pratt and I'm requesting any information regarding the parents of James Emerson Pratt (1848-1946). I have a Mar. 1946 article from The Atlanta Constitution that reported that he and his wife, Margaret Lair (1853-1947), were the oldest living married couple in North America (78 years married). In the article, Margaret mentions "that it was a long time since the last time they were together with all their children in Bartow County." My Pratt ancestral tree stops with James. I'm hoping you may have any information that will lead to his parents (ie a birth certificate of one of their 14 children that may list Grandparent names). Here are the names and birth dates for some of the 14: James Richard Pratt Feb 23, 1882 Guy Overby Pratt Apr 7, 1884 Harry Thomas Pratt May 7, 1886 Myrta May Pratt Nov. 3, 1889 Sarah Margaret Pratt Oct 4, 1893 Thanks so much for your time and for any help you may give.
