There are two seas in Palestine. One is fresh, with all kinds of marine life. Lush vegetation frames its shores, making it pleasant for families to enjoy it. The River Jordan, fed by streams from the mountain, flows into it. The same River Jordan flows into another sea. Here there are no fish, no green trees. Stagnant air hangs above these waters, which no one drinks.
What makes the difference?
For every drop of water that flows into Galilee, another drop flows out. The other sea keeps every drop that it receives. The Sea of Galilee is a living system. The other is called the Dead Sea.
