Olive Aurelia TAYLOR was born to William Hart TAYLOR and Louisa Jane WOOD on 6 September 1880 in Waukee, Dallas Co, Iowa. On 8 November 1896, at the age of 16, she was married to Erwin Lehman DELANEY who was 35.

Ollie and Erwin were divorced (date unknown) and in 1903 Ollie moved with her parents and children to Tonkawa, Kay Co, OK. On 7 June 1905 she was married to William Joseph Smith in Kay Co. They both worked for the railroad for a while and moved around quite a lot. Because of this they've been hard to pin down so far.

Ollie and William were divorced sometime after 1913. It's uncertain whether they were in Tacoma, Pierce Co, WA at that time or if Ollie moved there afterward but she was working in a motel there when she met Claude Leroy KELCHNER. They were soon married and remained in the Pierce Co area.
Ollie died 11 January 1973 in Puyallup, Pierce Co, WA.
